Why People Change Religion Or Church

1. People move from one church to another, because they are searching for the Truth. When they find the truth, they will become like the air, which does not belong to any church, and yet it attends every true church.
   
   • 8 The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit." John 3: 8
   
   • 19 The woman said to Him, "Sir, I perceive that You are a prophet. 20 Our fathers worshiped on this mountain, and you Jews say that in Jerusalem is the place where one ought to worship."
   
   • 21 Jesus said to her, "Woman, believe Me, the hour is coming when you will neither on this mountain, nor in Jerusalem, worship the Father. 22 You worship what you do not know; we know what we worship, for salvation is of the Jews. 23 But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. 24 God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth." John 4:19-24
   
   • 13 And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted his eyes and looked, and behold, a Man stood opposite him with His sword drawn in His hand. And Joshua went to Him and said to Him, "Are You for us or for our adversaries?" 14 So He said, "No (neither for you nor for your enemies), but as Commander of the army of the LORD I have now come." Joshua 5:13-15
   


2. When a person has completed education at a class level, he has to move to a higher class. That is exactly what happens when people change church. They move from one spiritual level to the next spiritual level by changing church. That is why they claim to see the light in the new church. In other words, people change church when they have risen to a higher level of spiritual development, and need better knowledge and wisdom.
   


3. When people fail to move to next level by changing church, nature uses problems, hardships and quarrels to move them into another and better environment that will benefit them more than their current church.
   


4. The Heavens say, “Let the person inside the house move out and see what is outside. Also, let the person outside move in and see what is inside.”
   


5. Several religious leaders change the teachings and commandments of God, by turning them upside down. Usually, the public do not know that such a thing is happening or has been happening.
   

13 "But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you shut up the kingdom of heaven against men; for you neither go in yourselves, nor do you allow those who are entering to go in.” Matthew 23:13-14

15 "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you travel land and sea to win one proselyte, and when he is won, you make him twice as much a son of hell as yourselves.” Matthew 23:15

25 "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you cleanse the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of extortion and self-indulgence. 26 Blind Pharisee, first cleanse the inside of the cup and dish, that the outside of them may be clean also.

27 "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs which indeed appear beautiful outwardly, but inside are full of dead men's bones and all uncleanness. 28 Even so you also outwardly appear righteous to men, but inside you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness.” Matthew 23:25-28

When people discover the Truth, they move by changing church.


6. Religions and churches suppose to make people grow in spirit and in truth. Instead of doing this, they keep people stagnant by first making them ordinary members. Thereby, they deprive people from rising in spiritual level. There are seven spiritual levels that lead people into the presence of God. I have met and counselled people who are living as ordinary members of a church when they suppose to be active and powerful ministers of God.
   


7. Consider the parable of the lead vehicles. Vehicles following a fast car move fast, while those cars that follow a slow truck encounter delays. So it is with following the reverend ministers of God. Spiritually enlightened ministers speed up your spiritual growth, while those ministers who are not spiritually enlightened hinder your spiritual progress. Remaining with a religious leader who is not spiritual or progressive will keep you stagnant, and even make you retrogressive. Jesus warned against this handicap, saying, “23 When they persecute you in this city, flee to another. For assuredly, I say to you, you will not have gone through the cities of Israel before the Son of Man comes.” Matthew 10:23 And I add, “Be wise enough to know when a church has strayed from the truth. Then leave it and join another church.”
   


8. Understand the relationship between humanity, religion and truth. The churches and religions suppose to lead people to the Truth. Instead of doing just that, they keep people stagnant by teaching people that their religion is the best and final religion. And I must warn you – Beware of religions and churches that claim to be the best. This is because the best and greatest religion is Truth and its temple is the Holy Spirit. Truly, I say to you that any one who does not forsake his religion to seek and find the Truth, does not and cannot enter the heaven.
   

1. Always preaching prosperity, instead of salvation and how to enter heaven.
2. Using Satanic powers to solve people’s problems.
3. Using marine powers to attend to people.
4. Using cultic powers to provide solutions.
5. Using Indian rings.
6. Burying corpses inside their premises in order to attract population.
7. Getting their prophecies from native doctors, witches and cultists.
8. Asking you to use your blood for reason or the other.
9. Using materials obtained from pagan worship.
10. Claiming to be the best and greatest.
11. Making you hate people of other religion.
12. Not teaching about spiritual side of life.
13. Christian, but do not believe in the Old Testament. For the word of God is neither old nor new. See Matthew Chapter 23.
14. Not practicing divine prophecy, for no one can live a righteous life without the Holy Spirit, which is the spirit of truth and the spirit of prophecy, even the spirit of righteousness and the spirit of holiness.
15. Always asking for your money.
16. Not identifying people’s spiritual talents and encouraging the use of the talents.
17. Etc.
